I earned my Bachelor of Science in Medical Sciences from Western University, where I delved into conducting and publishing research, organizing charity campaigns, and dedicating my time as a physiotherapy assistant for adults living with disabilities. Following this, I furthered my education at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.
My passion lies in working with clients across all age groups, and I am dedicated to helping individuals achieve their goals – whether it’s meeting timelines for competitions and tournaments or simply returning to work pain-free. My experience includes working with athletes who have competed in prestigious events such as the Olympic Games, Pan American Games, and Commonwealth Games.
With a solid 9-year background in weightlifting, including 3 years in Olympic weightlifting, I take pleasure in assisting lifters in reaching their next personal record through injury prevention, addressing mobility restrictions, and improving strength asymmetries.
During our sessions, you can expect a comprehensive approach, incorporating manual therapy such as joint mobilizations/manipulations, integrated dry needling or acupuncture, myofascial release, and active rehabilitation through tailored exercises. The techniques utilized will be personalized based on your preferences and the most effective treatment modality for optimal results.
Since having a special interest in the upper extremity, particularly the neck and shoulder, I am also recognized as a vestibular and concussion rehab expert, having undertaken extensive courses to ensure my clients receive the best possible outcomes.
