Integrated Dry NeedlingTM (IDN) Course
Developed by Canadian Physiotherapists for Canadian Physiotherapists.
Our instructors have extensive backgrounds in the use of dry needling and its integration with other treatment modality options. Dry Needling can be an effective and useful adjunct to an overall treatment program for our neuro-orthopaedic patients.
This course is designed to cover dry needling techniques for the whole body for varied musculoskeletal conditions. Learning takes place over 3 weekend sessions and involves lectures, a cadaver lab, guided practical sessions, written and practical evaluations and clinical case reasoning pertaining to the application and integration of IDN to your caseload.
The curriculum of the IDN course has been designed to meet the required competencies established by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario for a physiotherapist to use dry needling in their practice and to roster for this skill set.
Clinical Reasoning will be examined throughout all three weekends. Prior needling experience is not required, but is an asset.
*Note this course is only open to Physiotherapists.
